DVDs are somewhat outdated nowadays, however many of us still have a collection of DVDs we like to play from time to time.

New Macs no longer have DVD drives built-in, so you’ll need to buy an external USB DVD drive.

To open DVD player, click spotlight search on the top right of the screen.

Then type:

dvd player

From the spotlight search results ‘top hits’, select ‘dvd player’.

Once DVD player has started, your DVD will begin and will usually go to the DVD menu.
