Hexadecimal is a base-16 numeral system used in computing and digital technology. It is commonly abbreviated as “hex”. In hexadecimal, there are 16 digits: 0-9 represent values 0-9, and A-F represent values 10-15.

Hexadecimal is often used to represent binary data in a more compact and human-readable form. In some programming languages, hexadecimal numbers are denoted by a “0x” prefix, followed by the hexadecimal digits and is also used in memory addressing, and representing color values in web design.
