Short for High Definition, a display resolution standard that provides clearer and more detailed images than standard definition (SD). HD typically includes multiple levels of resolution:

  • HD (720p): 1280×720 pixels
  • Full HD (1080p): 1920×1080 pixels
  • Ultra HD (4K): 3840×2160 pixels

Each higher level offers greater pixel density and improved image clarity. HD technology is widely used in digital television, computer displays, and video streaming, enhancing visual quality compared to SD by providing increased resolution and color depth.
