Also known as Wi-Fi 7 is an upcoming standard expected around 2024, which builds on 802.11ax with target theoretical data rates over 30 Gbps by adding 320 MHz channel widths and 16 spatial streams. 802.11be will also introduce Multi-Link Operation (MLO), enabling devices to connect across multiple frequency bands simultaneously, and advanced interference management for higher reliability and reduced latency.
