Startup programs are small programs that load automatically when you log into Windows 10. If you have installed a lot of software, more often than not, these small programs build up slowing your machine down.

To see all the programs that automatically start, type ‘startup apps’ into the search field on the bottom left of your screen. Click ‘startup apps’.

From the list, select the ones you want to disable.

You will most likely want OneDrive and any anti-malware/anti-virus software to launch at startup, as well as keyboard or mouse utilities. When you find an app you don’t need, click the slider to ‘off’.
